Established in 1993, Big River Grill has become a landmark and destination for many who travel throughout the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area as well as for “locals” from Portland and Vancouver to Hood River and The Dalles.
     Our food has been categorized as “High-End Roadhouse”. I like that description. It’s all about being serious with the food we serve while trying not to take ourselves too seriously.
     It is important that the music, lighting and general ambience provide our customers with an immediate sense of casual warmth and welcome. We buy locally whenever possible and are committed to using the highest quality ingredients available to us. I like big, bold flavors and generous portions and Chef knows if it is not something I would order and enjoy, we will not be serving it. We are confident the food speaks for itself. We are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
